The area’s only Blue Oval dealership, Rick Hunt Ford first opened its doors in March of 1973. The largest dealership in Fauquier County, Rick Hunt is the only franchised dealer in three counties to remain under the same management for over 35 years.

Purchased by Richard Hunt III, Rick Hunt Ford began operating in 1973 next to the Frost Diner on Route 29 business. The dealership moved to its current location in 1985.

A proud supporter of the Fauquier SPCA, Rick Hunt Inc. devotes a great deal of energy to many local charities. Beneficiaries include the Fauquier and Liberty booster clubs, the Boys and Girls Club, Excellence in Education, the Warrenton Rotary and Optimist Clubs, and many local sports collectives.

Richard Hunt, President (50 years/37 Rick Hunt Inc.) – A fixture in Fauquier County, Mr. Hunt has managed to incorporate both of his hobbies, automobiles and football. He has partnered with the likes of former Redskins Joe Jacoby, Mike Nelms, and Mark May over the years. Active in many local charities, Mr. Hunt is a member of the board of directors for the Fauquier SPCA and an active member of the Friends of Homeless Animals.

John Konoza, Vice President/General Manager (20 years) – A member of the Rick Hunt management team since 1989. Former Director of Media Relations for the Washington Redskins, John continues to work as a statistician for the Washington Redskins and the Baltimore Ravens.

Mary Tarr, Customer Relations/Inventory Manager (10 years) - A local product, Mary joined the Rick Hunt team in 2000 to assist with Ford’s Blue Oval certification. A former Marriott Ranch employee, Mary handles all sales and service customer concerns.

Jean Fotenos, Comptroller (35 years) – The only original staff member (aside from Rick Hunt), Jean was recently recognized by Ford Motor Company for 30 years of outstanding service.

Rose Coleman, Body Shop Manager (28 years2 with Rick Hunt Inc.) – Rick Hunt’s newest acquisition, Rose joined the Rick Hunt team in September 2008. She brings with her 21 years of body shop experience, with an additional six years experience in parts and service.

Add Cheryl Kent, Service Manager (20 years) – A member of Rick Hunt’s service team for 20 years, Cheryl has worked as a service writer and has handled warranty claims since coming on board in 1989.

Scott Wyand, Ford Parts Manager (31 years/20 with Rick Hunt Inc.) – One of many employees that joined the Rick Hunt Team in 1989, Scott has 26 years of parts experience. Another local employee, most of Scott’s career has been spent serving Fauquier County.

Gary Gray, Sales Manager (9 years/4 with Rick Hunt Ford) - A local product, Gary first worked for Rick Hunt in Culpeper before moving to Rick Hunt Ford. A former sales person, Gary handles new and used vehicle sales and oversees Rick Hunt’s Finance and Insurance operation
